The View Was Stunning. I Still Felt Small.
Everyone posts about the Seven Sisters cliffs like they’re some hidden gem, but they’re not hidden and I wasn’t looking for gems. I went because I needed air, not answers.
Standing at the edge, wind clawing at my jacket, I thought I’d feel something big—freedom, awe, whatever. Instead, I just felt small. Not in a poetic way. Just small, like the world was huge and I was still carrying everything I’d brought with me: worries, doubts, the stuff you hope travel will shake loose.
The cliffs were beautiful. I took the photo, but never posted it. Maybe because I wanted to keep that feeling—unfiltered, unresolved, real.
