My Cat Adopted a Duckling (?!?)
So, apparently, my cat has decided she’s a mom now. To a duckling. Yes, you read that right. One minute she’s ignoring me like usual, the next she’s spooning a tiny yellow fluffball like it’s her own kitten.
I thought this was a one-off, but nope—every day, I catch them napping together, sharing food (the duckling is very into kibble, don’t judge), and even playing tag. The dog is jealous, the rabbit is confused, and I’m just here, documenting the chaos for the internet.
It’s honestly the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in ages. If you ever feel like the world is a mess, just remember: somewhere out there, a cat and a duckling are best friends, and that’s the kind of energy we all need.
