Rec|Adapalene is seriously a miracle for acne-prone skin!

Can’t believe how well it works?? I’m combo-oily and acne-prone. After Chinese New Year (bad diet, not enough sleep), I broke out like crazy — tons of closed comedones and red marks. I’ve been using azelaic acid for 4 years but it stopped working, so I grabbed a tube of adapalene just to try. 🗓️ First use: March 4 — my skin barrier was already sensitive (turned red after washing), but I recklessly applied it to my whole face without building tolerance 😅 didn’t know you were supposed to go slow… 🗓️ March 6-7: Most of the bumps came to a head and turned into visible white pimples — looked awful lol. Also had peeling, so I used a thick moisturizer on dry spots. (PSA: Kiehl’s calendula toner & cream stung like crazy, regret buying the full set 🥲) Kept using azelaic acid during the day + adapalene at night. 🗓️ Now it’s been a week: My cheeks are almost clear! Just working on post-acne marks now. Still a few stubborn spots on my forehead/nose but way better than before. Skin’s drier than usual so I’m moisturizing more, and yeah — dead skin rubs off when applying lotion, but overall super worth it. I’m definitely sticking with it. #beauty#makeup #acneprone #skincarejourney #adapalene #retinoidreview #closedcomedones #purgingphase #acnetips #miracleproduct

From Bumpy to Baby-Smooth: My Secrets for a Silky Face (No Filters Needed!)

Ever wake up, look in the mirror, and wonder why your skin feels more like sandpaper than silk? Been there! I used to scrub my face raw, thinking it would magically smooth out—but all I got was redness and breakouts. Here’s what actually works for me: 💡 Gentle Cleansing Twice a Day: Forget harsh scrubs! Use your fingertips and a mild cleanser morning and night. It keeps pores clear without irritation (trust me, your skin will thank you). 📌 Exfoliate (But Not Every Day!): Twice a week with a gentle chemical exfoliant—think 2% salicylic acid or 10% glycolic acid. It’s just enough to sweep away dead skin, not damage it. ✅ Moisturize for Your Skin Type: Oily? Go oil-free. Dry? Grab a richer cream. Locking in moisture is key for that smooth, glowy finish. ⚠️ Still struggling? A dermatologist can help with prescription options or treatments for stubborn acne and scars. Ready to ditch the rough patches? What’s your biggest skin struggle—breakouts or texture?
