Mix 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup sugar into 4 cups of water. Stir until dissolved. Submerge your chicken pieces in the brine for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor). Rinse the chicken off and pat dry before seasoning and cooking as usual. Brining makes such a difference! The meat stays super juicy and never dries out, even if you accidentally leave it in the oven a bit too long.
