Save Your Limp Celery—Don’t Toss It Yet!

If your celery’s gone limp in the fridge, don’t throw it out! Here’s how I bring mine back to life: Chop the celery into sticks, cutting off the base and leafy tops. Drop those sticks into a bowl filled with iced water. Let them soak for about 30 minutes. After that, they’re usually crisp and ready to eat again! If you want to revive the whole head, just slice a thin piece off the root end and stand it in a bowl of ice water for up to half an hour. Works like a charm.
