A person was reported to have jumped from a bridge into Wills Creek… and never came back up. The call came in around 3:49 p.m. on April 1. First responders got there fast. But by the time they arrived— 👉 The person had already gone under 👉 And didn’t resurface Search efforts started immediately. Boats were in the water. Multiple agencies were called in. 👉 ODNR 👉 Dive teams 👉 Rescue crews from multiple counties 👉 Even out-of-state divers They searched into the night— But conditions got dangerous. 👉 Strong currents 👉 Debris in the water 👉 Darkness setting in So they had to stop around 8 p.m. They came back the next morning with even more resources. 👉 Cadaver K9 👉 Sonar teams 👉 Expanded search zones Divers went in. Everything was coordinated. Everything was covered.
