๐จ SEARCH CALLED OFF AFTER PERSON JUMPS INTO WILLS CREEK โ NO RECOVERY Cambridge, Ohio โ This is a tough one. A person was reported to have jumped from a bridge into Wills Creekโฆ and never came back up. The call came in around 3:49 p.m. on April 1. First responders got there fast. But by the time they arrivedโ ๐ The person had already gone under ๐ And didnโt resurface Search efforts started immediately. Boats were in the water. Multiple agencies were called in. ๐ ODNR ๐ Dive teams ๐ Rescue crews from multiple counties ๐ Even out-of-state divers They searched into the nightโ But conditions got dangerous. ๐ Strong currents ๐ Debris in the water ๐ Darkness setting in So they had to stop around 8 p.m. They came back the next morning with even more resources. ๐ Cadaver K9 ๐ Sonar teams ๐ Expanded search zones Divers went in. Everything was coordinated. Everything was covered.
