Donald Wilson+FollowWhy is no one willing to grind this yew tree? π³πͺBack in the spring I cut down this yew tree, and I've been trying to find someone to grind the stump ever since. And three different, fully licensed landscaping companies have all told me the same thing: they can't or won't do it because the smaller grinders aren't powerful enough for a yew, and their bigger, more capable machines won't fit through my 80cm (30-inch) fence gate. π΅ They even suggested slicing it into chunks with a chainsaw instead, but apparently, it's not "worth it" for them to even make an offer for that. I'm honestly lost. Does anyone have ideas for how to get this yew stump ground, or alternative methods that would work given the access limitations? Any suggestions would be a massive help. π #TreeStump #LandscapingProblems #DIYHome #HomeownerDilemma #YardWork #HelpNeeded20Share
Joseph Norris+FollowAm I Overreacting to This Pool Fill-In? πWith large pieces of concrete just dumped into the pool, this man is now seeking some advice and feedback here on this pool fill-in projectπ€ He just doesn't like how it felt like the pool was just being used as a giant trash pit...ποΈπ΅ Plus, there were no layers of fill with compaction in between, which seems pretty crucial. Another concern is that it looks like not enough was cleared from the sides of the pool shell, potentially messing up the yard grading later. Naturally, they stopped the project, but the contractor is telling them they're being overly critical π‘.
