From Millionaire at Home to Struggling Alone: My Tech Career Dilemma 😱
After graduating college, I moved back in with my family, which is pretty common in my Asian community. I landed a high-paying tech job in a city full of opportunities, and my parents covered all my expenses except for insurance. This let me invest nearly every dollar I earned, and by year three, I hit my first million. By year five, I had two million in my accounts.
But now that I’m living on my own, things have changed. My wealth isn’t growing as fast, and I’m way more cautious with my investments. The pressure of rent, bills, and the fear of losing what I’ve built is getting to me. I’m struggling with the stress and second-guessing every financial move I make.
