How I Finally Started Gaining Weight (for Real)
Not gonna lie, gaining weight after anorexia felt impossible at first. I kept messing up—either eating too little or feeling totally overwhelmed by food. But a few tweaks made all the difference:
💡 Go for nutrient-dense foods. Salmon, nuts, whole grains, and yogurt pack a ton of nutrition into smaller portions—way less intimidating than huge plates.
📌 Sneak in extra calories. Add nut butter to toast, drizzle olive oil on veggies, or toss granola into yogurt. Every little bit adds up!
✅ Drink your calories. Smoothies with fruit, nut butter, and protein powder were my secret weapon—easy to sip, not so filling, but super effective.
⚠️ Expect weird side effects. Bloating, weird weight distribution, or stomach issues? Totally normal and temporary. Stick with it, and don’t obsess over the scale.
