The Morning I Waited for the Fog to Lift

I woke up too early, hoping to beat the crowds at Multnomah Falls. Instead, I got fog so thick the whole valley felt erased. The waterfall was just a rumor behind the mist—loud, invisible, close but out of reach. I stood there, camera cold in my hands, pretending I was patient. But really, I was just tired—of chasing perfect views, of trying to turn every trip into a story worth telling. The fog didn’t care. It just hung there, soft and unmoved, until I gave up and left. I never posted the photos. Sometimes the best part of a place is what you can’t see, and what you don’t say. #Travel #TravelUnfiltered #MissedMoments
