Is this what I think it is?

You know those old houses with endless stories right? Well, a couple who bought a 125-year-old farmhouse a few years back are living that dream (or nightmare!) The place had been abandoned for about three years before they got it. There used to be a big old barn in their yard, which was just a mound of rubble when they moved in. The wife, a keen gardener, quickly started unearthing bits of its foundation and pieces of the barn itself. The town even gave the former owners a grant to keep this historic barn, but it collapsed from neglect – word is, someone might have just taken the money and run! They also recently discovered squatters lived in the house for those three years prior to their purchase. Anyway, their garden, which sits on that old barn site, is constantly giving up weird finds, from intact dishes to 70s kids' toys, even DVDs! But this afternoon, the wife found something truly puzzling. It’s a heavy, gun-like object, but the strange thing is it’s completely coated in what looks like cement! They rinsed it off, and it still sounds like metal when you tap it, with what appears to be corroded metal at the tip. They're stumped – could it be a very real pistol, an ancient toy, or just some odd mix of sand from the nearby creek? It's the only item they've found with this kind of coating. What do you all make of this bizarre backyard discovery??? #HistoricHome #FarmHouseFinder #BackyardDigs #WhatIsThis #OldHouseMysterie #GardenTreasures #Weapon
