What can I use it for? And what is the right name for this?

I just came into possession of this old electric drill that has a gear reduction attachment bolted to the front. I included a picture of the find. This thing converts the drill's high RPM into serious low-speed torque. It looks like it could turn the crank on a small submarine, but its original purpose was actually bizarre. It was originally used on chicken farms to slowly pull a long roll of paper liner in battery cages. I am determined to find a cool modern application for this. My car is full of tortilla chips and I'm not sure why

I opened my hood today to refill the windshield washer fluid and saw something I still can't believe. What appears to be a big pile of tortilla chips was sitting there. I was so confused. I am really hoping there is another explanation for this. Could they be fallen tree leaves that somehow got all fried and bubbly? I just cannot wrap my head around a pile of chips being in there. My wife and I are losing our minds over this mystery structure. What is it?! 🤯

My wife and I keep driving past this thing on the side of the road in Oregon, and we have to know what it is. It's about 15 feet tall and just sits there at the end of a driveway. The bottom part has a glass window facing the driveway, but it looks totally empty inside. We have no idea what it could be. We have thrown out every guess we can think of, like maybe it's some kind of watchtower, a giant birdhouse, or even a weird deer feeder.
