Norway’s Lofoten: Not the Escape I Expected

I thought Lofoten would be a clean break from everything—just sharp air, endless water, and those jagged peaks that look impossible even in person. But standing there, camera in hand, I realized how much of travel is just you, carrying your own weight into new places. The light is different here. Softer, somehow. The silence isn’t peaceful; it’s loud with everything you haven’t figured out yet. I took photos I’ll never post because they look like someone else’s life.
