Hey everyone, I’m a 25-year-old software engineer, and honestly, I’m at my wit’s end. I’ve worked hard, saved over $100k, and own a few rental properties. My dream is to achieve financial independence and retire early (FIRE) by 40. I live simply and invest smartly, but it feels impossible to find someone who shares these goals. Every guy I meet seems to spend money as soon as it hits their account. When I bring up saving and investing, I get blank stares or awkward jokes. Recently, a guy I’d been seeing for months accused me of being a gold digger just because I talked about wanting a partner with similar financial goals. That really stung. 😔 I don’t want to waste time with someone who doesn’t value financial planning. How do I find someone who actually wants to build a future together?
