I used to think the gaps in the Earth’s crust were just another puzzle to solve. Now, I see them everywhere—in my data, in my sleep, in the way I keep searching for something that might not be there. We talk about the Great Unconformity like it’s a mystery of geology, but it’s also the story of how much gets stripped away when you’re under pressure for too long.
