Hey friends, I’m in a real bind and could use your advice. I just accepted a new job offer at a tech firm here in Austin for $80k a year. I was excited to start fresh and move forward in my career. But when I handed in my resignation at my current job, my boss surprised me with a counteroffer of $82k to stay. Now I’m torn. I’ve already signed the new offer, so I feel like I don’t have much room to negotiate, but I’m wondering if I should ask the new company to match the $82k.
