This 30-Minute Teriyaki Pork Fried Rice Beats Takeout Every Time

Making restaurant-quality fried rice at home is way easier than you think. This teriyaki version has become my go-to weeknight dinner. Cook your jasmine rice first and set it aside to cool slightly. Dice up your yellow onion, carrots, and scallions while the rice is cooking. Brown the ground pork over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once it's cooked through, add your teriyaki sauce and mix well. Heat oil in your pan and toss in the carrots, edamame, and onions. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until they start to soften. Add the cooled rice and tamari sauce to the veggie mix. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Either scramble the eggs right into the rice or fry them separately to top each serving. The whole thing takes maybe 25-30 minutes, and honestly tastes better than most restaurant versions I've tried. #teriyakifriedrice #weeknightdinner #homemadebetterthan takeout #Food #Cooking
