I’m stuck in this weird spot at work—everyone says you need to be visible to move up, but I’m not the type to gush over every little thing the boss says. I get my work done, I help my team, but when the higher-ups come around, I just freeze up. I’m not the loudest in the room, and I definitely don’t want to be seen as a kiss-up.
