Lately, my manager has been dropping hints about wanting to know if I ever decide to look for another job. The message is always about wanting open and honest communication, but honestly, it feels like a trap. I work at a church, so the culture is a bit more personal, but isn't it risky to admit you're thinking of leaving before you even have another offer? I trust my coworkers, but I can't shake the feeling that being too honest could backfire. What if I say something and then end up staying?
