Use your baguette the same day you buy or bake it if you can. French baguettes go stale super fast because they're so thin. If you get a warm baguette in a bag, take it out right away so it doesn’t get soggy from trapped steam. Once the baguette is cool, wrap it tightly in aluminum foil. This keeps it from drying out but doesn’t trap moisture like plastic would. Store it at room temp for up to a day. Don’t refrigerate—it’ll just make the bread harden faster. If you know you won’t finish it, freeze it (still wrapped in foil) for up to 3 months. You can even pre-slice it before freezing for easy toast later. If it still goes stale, don’t toss it! Revive it in the oven with a splash of water, or turn it into croutons, breadcrumbs, or bread pudding. Waste not, want not! #BaguetteTips #BreadStorage #NoMoreStaleBread #Food #Cooking
