Is Having No Kids a Free Pass to Cover for Everyone? 🤔

Lately, work has felt less like a team and more like a guilt trip. I'm in a small team with two older women, and every Thursday, we stay late for potential client meetings—unpaid, of course. When my first coworker lost her dog, I covered for her. Then she needed to watch her daughter's soccer game, so I stepped in again. Last week, she fell at work, and once more, I was asked to cover. Meanwhile, my second coworker always says she can't help because she has young kids to cook for. But when I finally had plans with friends, my boss asked me to cancel—because, apparently, having no kids means my time is less valuable. When I said no, he called me a bad team player and hasn't spoken to me since. Am I wrong for wanting my own life outside work? Is it fair to be treated differently just because I don't have kids? I feel stuck and honestly, I could use some advice. 😞 #WorkplaceFairness #Teamwork #WorkLifeBalance #JobCareer
