Is a 6-Figure Salary Worth Your Weekends?

I work remotely in marketing for a small tech company—just 30 of us, so you’d think things would be chill. Our official hours are 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, but lately, I’ve noticed something odd. My manager and another teammate both talk about working weekends like it’s just part of the job. My manager, who makes twice my salary, seems to be online all the time. I can’t help but wonder: Is this what it takes to move up? Do you have to sacrifice your weekends and personal time for a six-figure paycheck? Or is my manager just struggling to set boundaries? Honestly, it’s stressing me out.
