how did a handful of oregano seeds turn my yard into a mini jungle?

A couple years back, I had this tiny strip of dirt by my fence. No clue what to do with it, so I tossed in some leftover oregano seeds, thinking maybe I’d get a few sprigs for pizza night. Fast forward to now, and that little patch is a full-on oregano explosion. It’s wild how fast things grow when you just let them be. Turns out, oregano loves to spread if you give it a bit of sun and don’t fuss too much. I barely watered it, just made sure the soil wasn’t bone dry. Now, I snip fresh herbs whenever I want, and my dinners taste way better. If you’ve got random seeds and a spare spot, just go for it.
