did i just break the rules and end up with a lime explosion?

This year, my lime tree totally surprised me. I’d always heard you’re supposed to thin out the blossoms, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I left way more flowers than any guide recommends. I figured, why not see what happens? Turns out, my tree went wild. I’ve got limes everywhere—so many I’m handing them out to neighbors. Maybe it’s not the textbook way, but letting the tree do its thing worked for me. I kept up with watering and made sure the soil drained well, but otherwise, I just watched it go.
