how do i stop my husband from pulling up my precious basil?

Every spring, my husband gets super enthusiastic about weeding. The problem? He can’t always tell my new basil plants from the dandelions. Last year, I nearly cried when he yanked out half my herbs thinking they were weeds. So, I started using little popsicle sticks with the plant names written in big, bold letters. I even doodled a tiny basil leaf for extra flair. Now, he checks the markers before pulling anything. My basil survived, and so did our gardening teamwork.
