why did i stack wood and dirt in my yard and love it so much?

Last weekend, I decided to try something new and built a raised garden bed in my backyard. I dragged out some old planks, lined them up, and filled the frame with a mix of compost and soil. It was a bit of a workout, but I was surprised by how much fun it was to put together. As I planted my tomatoes and peppers, I realized how much easier it is to control the soil quality in a raised bed. No more bending over as much, and the weeds are way less annoying. Plus, watering is a breeze since the soil drains better. Watching those little green sprouts pop up makes all the effort totally worth it.
