Why I Stopped Using Banana Water on Plants

Tried banana water for my houseplants after seeing it blow up online. Spoiler: my results were...mixed. Here’s what I wish I’d known before dunking peels in jars: 💡 Chop peels small for faster breakdown, but don’t go too tiny—straining gets messy. 📌 Let it sit at least a week (sealed tight—trust me, the smell is wild). Stir or shake every few days. ⚠️ Dilute before using! Straight banana water can attract gnats and mold. I go 1 part banana water to 5 parts regular water. ✅ Honestly, tossing peels in compost is way easier and probably better for your plants. Banana water is fun to try, but not a miracle hack. #PlantCare #DIYGardening #Houseplants #Health #Diet
