I recently worked on a project with a colleague, and we both contributed equally. When it came time to present to the client, our boss chose my colleague because of his strong communication skills and quick thinking. He nailed the presentation, no doubt about it. After the project’s success, he was promoted to be my supervisor. It got me thinking—does being less articulate mean I’ll always be one step behind?
