Red Split Lentils: Creamy Stew in Minutes

Rinse 1 cup of red split lentils under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove any dust or debris. Add the rinsed lentils to a pot with 2.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for about 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally. The lentils will soften and start to break down, turning creamy. For extra flavor, toss in salt, pepper, turmeric, or a bay leaf while cooking. You can also add diced onions, garlic, or tomatoes if you want a richer taste. When the lentils are tender and creamy, serve as a stew, over rice, or as a base for dal or curry. Red split lentils are super versatile and cook so fast, making them perfect for quick weeknight meals. #lentilrecipes #quickmeals #vegetarian #Food #Cooking

Who on earth is the one that loves eating meat?

I just can’t wrap my head around non-vegetarians. I mean, seriously, how do you even stomach that greasy, fatty meat? It’s like chewing on a chunk of pure cholesterol and saturated fat. Every time I see someone chowing down on a steak or burger, I feel like gagging. I’ve tried to eat meat a few times, but it’s just disgusting. It’s not just about health, although it’s a no-brainer that plant-based diets are way better for you. Vegetables are packed with nutrients, fiber, and all the good stuff your body craves. They taste amazing too, with so many vibrant flavors and textures. But meat? It’s just a bland, fatty mess. I don’t get it. Why would you choose something that’s so bad for you and the planet? It’s time to wake up and realize that vegetarian food is the way to go. It’s healthier, tastier, and way more satisfying. So, meat-eaters, do yourself a favor and give veggies a chance. #Veggies lovers #vegetarian #Awful meat
