why are you all planting tomatoes now? have you checked the calendar?

Every year, I see people rushing to plant tomatoes in March, and I just have to laugh. Last spring, I did the same thing. I was so excited, I ignored the chilly nights. My poor seedlings looked so sad by April—tiny, shivering, and not growing at all. Now, I always check the last frost date before planting anything. Instead of jumping the gun, I start seeds indoors and give them a sunny window. My plants are stronger and happier when I finally move them outside. Plus, I get to enjoy the process without stressing about surprise cold snaps. Trust me, waiting a bit makes all the difference. My garden is thriving, and I get to brag about my big, juicy tomatoes all summer long. #gardeningtips #springgarden #plantingseason #growyourown #Gardening

why did i freak out over seeds vs. starter plants this spring?

Last spring, I stood in the garden store, totally torn. Do I go for seeds or just grab those cute little starter plants? I remembered last year’s disaster—my seeds barely sprouted, and I ended up with a sad, empty patch. But the starter plants? Instant garden vibes. So, I mixed it up this time. I picked easy stuff like lettuce and radishes from seeds, and splurged on tomato and pepper starters. Watching those seeds pop up felt like magic. But seeing my tomato plants already strong made me feel like a pro. Mixing both gave me the best of both worlds. Now, my garden is packed, and I get to brag about my “from scratch” veggies and my thriving tomatoes. Total win. #gardeningtips #plantlife #growyourown #springgarden #Gardening
