how did i turn my office into a mini garden? 🌱🌻
Apparently I’ve reached that age where I’m obsessed with plants now. For Earth Day at work, I grabbed two little seed packets—one for tiny tomatoes 🍅 and the other for sunflowers 🌻. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. I mean, I’ve killed every plant I’ve touched, including a cactus, but hey, I thought I’d give it a shot.
I tossed the seeds into some soil, watered them, and put them by the office window (a little nervous, tbh). Fast forward to the next Monday, and I come in to find my sunflower sprouting! 🌱 Little green heads poking through the soil like “hey, we’re alive!”
A few days later, my tiny tomatoes started pushing through too—SO many little seedlings. It was like watching them grow before my eyes. Feeling pretty proud of myself, I went full plant mom mode, bought tools, pots, and even planted some morning glories I got with takeout. Now, my desk is a mini jungle, and I’m casually shocking coworkers with my greenery.
Hoping my purple bellflower starts growing soon—don’t want all that cute pottery to go to waste! 🙌
