Who on earth is Melchizedek? (Did Jesus show up in Genesis?) 🤯

Okay, studying Hebrews 7 just broke my brain. It talks about Melchizedek, the mysterious priest-king who blessed Abraham in Genesis 14. The Bible explicitly says he has "no father or mother, no genealogy, no beginning of days or end of life." Wait, WHAT?! He just appears, collects a tithe, serves bread and wine (sound familiar?), and vanishes. Many theologians believe this was a "Christophany"—a physical appearance of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament before He was born in Bethlehem.
