I spotted something wild today—a single lily of the valley poking up through the pavement, totally away from its usual patch. I swear, I didn’t plant it there! It just decided to go rogue and make its own way. That’s the thing about gardening: plants surprise you when you least expect it. Turns out, if you give your plants a good start with rich soil and regular water, they’ll do the rest. I always mulch and keep the soil loose, so roots can wander.
