andersonjohn+FollowNew construction tip 🛠️Take pictures of everything before drywall goes up! It’s very helpful to know where pipes, wires, etc. are located. It’s also fun to look back at the pictures. This is also a good time to ask questions about anything that doesn’t look right. The builder did their own third party inspections and we hired our inspector to look at everything at three different times. I also did a couple of last minute changes during this phase that I didn’t think about earlier, like adding an extra outlet in the utility room for the vacuum charger and set up the garage for possibly having an electric vehicle in the future (which I do have now). It’s much easier to add before the drywall goes up. We have referred back to these photos various times! #newconstruction #housetohome #buildingahome #perryhomes #home #texashome #ourhome #newbuild #hometips #sanantonio10Share

Sarah Carter+FollowWhy Warm Washes Are a Laundry FailDid you know washing your clothes in warm water is basically pointless? According to Dr. Xand van Tulleken, hot (60°C/140°F) kills germs, cold (20°C/68°F) saves cash, but warm is just a waste. He says, 'It’s too hot to be cheap, too cold to kill bugs.' Pro tip: use hot for sick days or sweaty gym gear, cold for everything else. Oh, and don’t overload your machine or drown your clothes in detergent—your washer (and wallet) will thank you! #Beauty #LaundryHacks #HomeTips00Share
