One-day Furniture Adventure in San Francisco
🌟 Room and Board - A store with a focus on mid-century modern furniture. They currently have a scratch card promotion where you can get up to 50% off. I was torn on what to buy and ended up leaving empty-handed, afraid that I might miss out on a better deal.
🌟 EQ3 - A Canadian brand that offers a mix of Scandinavian and modern furniture. They also have the scratch card promotion, and I spent a while contemplating what I might miss out on if I got a 50% discount. In the end, I left with nothing and hurried to catch the bullet train home.
🌟 BoConcept - This store offers modern and minimalist Scandinavian furniture. They have a great selection of floor models with significant discounts. They even have a small children's area called Flexa, filled with adorable toys that made me want to use them myself. There's also a BoConcept location in Santana Row and another one at the Stanford shopping center in South Bay.
Now, onto the stores I couldn't afford but was highly impressed by:
🌟 Dzine - This store showcases a combination of high-end art and furniture. It feels like walking through a free art gallery. I could easily spend hours here, and I wish there were more stores like this. However, the price tags are no joke, with all the items being in the high four figures. Gotta start earning more 💪. They also offer discounts on floor models, but even with the discount, they're still quite pricey.
🌟 Linge Rest - A store that focuses on selling the original versions of popular furniture designs and exposes the knockoff industry. Unfortunately, it closed early on the day of my visit, but I'm sure there are many other beautiful stores in the same building.
🌟 B&B Italia - Just had to stop by and admire the Camaleonda sofa.
