Guard Your Heart, Guard Your Words Scripture: “The things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart.” “Out of the heart come evil thoughts.” — Matthew 15:18-19 Our words are powerful because they reveal what is hidden within us. Jesus teaches that the mouth is simply the messenger of the heart. When bitterness, anger, jealousy, resentment, or pride fill our hearts, they eventually find their way into our conversations. Likewise, when our hearts are filled with God’s love, grace, mercy, and truth, those qualities overflow into our speech. Today, ask God to search your heart. Invite Him to remove anything that does not reflect His character and replace it with His love, peace, and wisdom. When your heart is full of Christ, your words will naturally reflect Him. Today ask yourself: 1. What areas of my heart need God’s healing and transformation? 2. How can I intentionally use my words to encourage someone today? #GuardYourHeart #HeartCheck #Matthew1518 #FaithOverFear #ChristianLiving #SpeakLife #HeartTransformation #WordsMatter

To anyone else feeling completely outnumbered and exhausted right now... 🥺

I woke up today just feeling totally overwhelmed. Bills, health anxiety, family stress—it literally feels like there’s an army surrounding my house trying to take me down. Then I opened up 2 Kings 6. Elisha’s servant wakes up, looks out the window, and panics because a literal enemy army has surrounded their city. But Elisha doesn't flinch. He just prays, "Lord, open his eyes." Suddenly, the servant sees that the hills are entirely covered with horses and chariots of literal, blazing fire. The enemy army was completely surrounded by God’s special forces. We get so blinded by the physical problems right in front of us that we forget the overwhelming spiritual artillery God has stationed around us. You are not fighting alone today. The hills are burning. #SpiritualWarfare #Angels #Elisha #FaithOverFear #GodIsWithUs

I can't even imagine making the choice Moses' mother made I was reflecting on the families in the Bible and Jochebed's story completely wrecked me. We sing cute children's songs about baby Moses floating in a basket. But the reality? She wove that basket through tears. She placed her newborn son into the crocodile-infested currents of the Nile River because holding onto him meant certain execution. She couldn't protect him anvmore. She had to literally let him go into the dangerous unknown, trusting that God's hands were better than hers Surrendering the people we love to God is terrifying. We want to control outcomes and keep them safe. But sometimes, true faith requires building the basket, letting go, and trusting the One who controls the currents. #FaithOverFear #BiblicalMotherhood #LettingGo #TrustGod
