leslie38+FollowHorrible start to vacationWe’re on a 14-hour drive to the beach. We split it up — 8 hours the first day, then stopped at a hotel for the night. What. A. Nightmare. Our kids (4 & 2) are normally great sleepers at home. They’re flexible, easygoing kids. So I naively assumed sleeping in a hotel would be fine. We booked a room with two queen beds thinking each parent would take a kid. Easy, right?Wrong. I had the 2-year-old. He thought bedtime was hilarious and spent hours giggling, laughing, and rolling all over me. No sleep for either of us. He kept headbutting me — I’m probably concussed at this point. Then everyone was up at 4:30 AM crying for reasons unknown. Not sure how it went with the 4-year-old and my husband, but judging by everyone's mood... not great. Now we’re about to spend another 6+ hours in the car, absolutely exhausted and sniping at each other because we're so fried.Sometimes, I really fucking hate all of this. #TravelWithKids #VacationDisasters #ParentLife #SendCoffee #Exhausted #Parenting151Share
tina93+Followis being loved too much a good thing or a burden?I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years, and while he truly loves me, his constant jealousy and insecurity are exhausting. He overthinks everything—from my workmates to casual conversations—gets irritable, and even shuts down. I can’t even talk to him about it because he’ll spiral into overthinking, making it worse. I know I’m lucky to be loved this much, but it’s starting to feel suffocating. Can this relationship work, or do I need a break to breathe? #relationshipdrama #jealousyissues #exhausted124Share
