Last spring, I tossed an apple core into my backyard, not thinking much of it. Fast forward a few weeks, and I spotted tiny green shoots poking through the dirt. Turns out, those seeds actually sprouted! I was shocked. I started watering them every morning and made sure they got plenty of sunlight. It felt like I was raising a little forest right outside my window. Watching those baby trees grow made me realize how simple gardening can be.
