Just turned 18, barely out of high school, and already juggling a minimum wage job in a new city. I thought moving in with my dad would finally give me a break from the chaos at my mom’s place. Instead, he’s demanding I pay rent—even though my "room" is literally a bed in the corner of his cramped living room!
