Texas Roadhouse - The Affordable Steak Champ 🏆
Finally made it to the Texas Roadhouse, truly lives up to its reputation - cheap, large portions, excellent quality!
Price breakdown first:
- 20oz Bone-In Ribeye: $34.49, served with two sides!
- 9oz Filet Medallions: $25.49, served with two sides!
- Country Fried Sirloin: $13.99, served with two sides!
- Forgot the drink prices, but they got unlimited refills!
- Free rolls before the meal, eat as many as you can!
Let's discuss the portions:
Four of us ordered everything in the picture, we were so stuffed we had to pack a ton of food for later! Got to praise the Weekday Specials menu, as seen in Picture 11. If you come before 5 PM from Monday to Friday, you have 11 main course options just for $13.99, plus two sides! It's almost the same price as McDonald's, but way better! Check out image 4/5, we ordered two Country Fried Sirloins - a unique preparation - flattened and deep-fried steak which looked like a chicken cutlet, came with sides (fresh veggies/baked potato) and (fries+mashed potato)!
Now, let's talk about quality and service:
I personally thought the quality was great - the ribeye and filets were fresh and juicy, the sides were not just filler. The rolls before the meal were soft and yummy! Service was impeccable - the server refilled our bread and drinks without needing a reminder. Thumbs up!
In summary, didn't get why this place was such a hit before, but now I know why! No wonder people are willing to line up for one or two hours, really worth the wait!
