My parents relied on assistance when we first arrived. I don’t deny that. But now I see people treating unstable status as a long-term strategy, while law-abiding families struggle more. The Restaurant That “Doesn’t Ask Questions”

There’s a deli in my neighborhood everyone knows. “They don’t ask questions.” As long as it’s labeled “cold combo,” SNAP works—even if it just came out of the oven. Staff and customers both know the routine.
