Ever felt awkward joining a new team or group? 😅 I totally get it! That "Welcome aboard!" can sound so formal... but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s how I make everyone feel at home (and you can too!):
• I use "Welcome aboard" for a warm, friendly vibe—whether it’s a new job, club, or even a group chat!
• If I want to sound a bit more official, I’ll say "Welcome on board" (but honestly, I stick with "aboard" most of the time 🙈)
• I always add a personal touch: "We’re so glad you’re here!" or "Ask me anything—seriously!"
• Even in jokes, I’ll say "Welcome aboard" when someone finally agrees with me 😂
