Police responded February 28 to a report of a body found behind a residence on 7th Street, over an embankment. Officers confirmed the man was deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Ryan Wrutzel. The Pike County Coroner responded, and an autopsy was conducted March 1 by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office. The cause and manner of death remain pending. Just two weeks ago, his family had asked for help finding him. Now, the focus shifts to answers. The investigation remains active.
