Last spring, I found a pile of my worn-out jeans and thought, why not use them for gardening? I cut them up, filled the legs with soil, and popped in some herb seeds. It looked a little wild, but those jeans held up way better than I expected. The roots had plenty of space, and the denim kept the soil from drying out too fast.
I even noticed the plants seemed happier compared to the plastic pots. Plus, it felt good to give my old clothes a second life. Now, every time I see those green sprouts peeking out of faded denim, I get a little burst of joy. If you’ve got old clothes lying around, give it a shot. It’s fun, eco-friendly, and your garden will thank you.
