My Dog Just Won Pet Photographer of the Year
So, my golden retriever, Max, has a habit of stealing my phone. Usually, it’s just to chew on the case, but today he managed to open the camera app and snap a photo of our other dog, Luna. I’m not kidding—the shot is actually better than anything I’ve taken in months. Luna’s mid-yawn, looking like she’s contemplating the universe, and the lighting is pure magic. I’ve tried for ages to get a candid like this, but apparently all I needed was a dog with zero concept of framing or timing.
Now my family’s insisting Max is the real artist in the house. I’m just here, humbled by a canine with a drool problem and an accidental eye for composition. Should I be proud or worried? Either way, Max is getting extra treats tonight. Anyone else ever been outdone by their own pet?
