What does the Bible say about such things? In John 14:6, Jesus says "I Am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one comes to the Father except through Me". What does this truly mean? It means that we must repent of our sins, acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God and accept Him as Our Savior, be baptized in water to be washed clean from our sin and be born again. After we are born again we are held to the standard of living life not in sin yet by rebuking participating in sin.
