Why does my child take out His anger only on me?
I truly love my son more than anything, so why does he always seem to lose his temper with me?
Recently, he’s hit puberty, and his moods have become erratic and irritable. It’s been really distressing for me.
I wake up at 6 every morning to prepare delicious meals, squeeze toothpaste onto his toothbrush, and lay out his clothes, shoes, and schoolbag. But when I occasionally ask if he needs to bring anything, he’ll snap at me impatiently.
I feel like a guilty sinner in his presence—no matter how much I do, it’s never enough, and I always end up getting scolded.
In contrast, he gets along smoothly with his dad, who’s more of a hands - off parent at home. This has only made me feel more unbalanced.
I’ve even observed his interactions with my parents, and they’re always harmonious, with no signs of impatience in his tone.
