April Anderson+FollowTattoos & Skin Cancer: Is There a Real Risk?Just when you thought your ink was only a style statement, new research from Sweden hints tattoos might bump up your risk of skin cancer—specifically melanoma—by nearly 30%. Scientists say it’s not just about sun exposure; tattoo ink could break down into harmful chemicals. The link isn’t proven yet, but it’s enough to make you think twice before your next session. Would you risk it for the art? #Health #BodyHealth #tattoos00Share

I heard this piece alone took 47 hours to complete, which is a true testament to the skill and endurance on both sides. #Tattoos #Nissaco #Osaka #BodyArt #Blackwork #TattooGoals 11Share
Laura Carlson+FollowMy grandpa passed away. Can anyone help me identify his tattoo? My incredible grandpa passed away recently at the age of 85. I'm so grateful my grandma took a picture of his tattoo before he passed because for whatever reason, I never asked him about it. It's got a banner with his name, EDWIN, and as a kid I always thought it was some kind of leopard. The only story he told about it was that he got it to cover up a crude "LOVE MOM" cross he had done himself when he was a kid. I believe this was done sometime between 1954 and 1965. In that time, he was a railroad switchman and a long-haul trucker. He was also a total badass who rode motorcycles. I don't know anything about tattoo styles, but I would love to know more about this. If anyone has an idea about what this is or what the style might be, I would be so grateful. #FamilyHistory #FamilyRelationships #FamilyStories #HelpNeeded #Tattoos #Skin 11701199Share
