Sushi Burger: My Taste Buds Are Confused
So, I finally caved and tried a sushi burger. You know, the kind that looks like a burger but is actually two slabs of rice with all the sushi fixings squished in the middle. It’s like someone took a California roll and said, “Let’s make this even harder to eat in public.”
First bite: total confusion. My brain expected warm, greasy burger vibes, but instead—cold salmon, crunchy cucumber, and that hit of wasabi. Not bad, just... existentially weird. The seaweed wrapper tried its best to hold everything together, but by the third bite, I was basically eating a sushi salad with my hands.
Would I eat it again? Honestly, probably. It’s messy, a little chaotic, but somehow satisfying. Plus, it’s the only food that’s ever made me question my life choices in the middle of lunch. 10/10 for novelty, 7/10 for dignity.
